Travel to Phnom Penh - Places to visit

The Heritage Tour of Phnom Penh, the tour to discover all the monuments of the city.

During a trip in Phnom Penh, we have had the chance to meet Géraldine and Jean Pierre, a French couple based in Cambodia for 7 years. They talked to us about their experience and propose us to discover their new touristic project in Phnom Penh. Jean Pierre fell in love with Cambodia since his numerous trips in the country. It has always been his dream to settle there. Therefore, both decided to take the opportunity Phnom Penh was offering to settle there, open a business and start a new life.

They decided to create a concept that could enable people to discover hidden places of Phnom Penh that are a historic heritage of the city. That enabled them to mix their passion for history with their ambition to develop a new concept in Asia. The Phnom Penh Heritage Tour they have created was still quite unknown in the city. According to them “Phnom Penh, the Capital of Cambodia is experiencing a frenetic development and is transforming, sometimes forgetting that some buildings are valuable witnesses to its history.”

In an electric open bus or in a tuk-tuk, you will be driven through the city in order to discover monuments relating the time when Cambodia was placed under French Protectorate. Equipped with digital tablets and headphones, you will have all the explications needed. For each of the 22 monuments, a video, which you can listen in 8 different languages, gives information about the place and enables virtual entrances to inaccessible places.
